The objective of this workshop is to emphasize what crisis communication means, and how to deal effectively with crises in the business environment by applying efficient communication tools. Participants will be provided with a set of key communication strategies to use in order to prevent, solve and learn from a crisis situation. The impact of the media in the context of crisis management & crisis communication will be also highlighted. Case studies and practical exercises will be conducted based on relevant and constructive approaches and tactics used in the field of crisis communication.
Camelia Nistor is Associate Professor at United International Business Schools, in Brussels, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Zurich and Geneva, also Affiliate Professor at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, lecturing in her areas of competence: Media & Communication and EU Lobbying & EU Institution, experience in working at the Secretariat General of the European Commission, at the European Parliament, in an EU Consultancy in Brussels (in the area of Public Affairs & Public Relations), and gathering of the professional experience as a radio journalist.
